Machu Picchu Backpacker a very economical and very enjoyable tour
The trains in the schedules considered depart from the Ollantaytambo station at 11:15 a.m. and / or 11:30 a.m. and those of return are 7:00 p.m. and / or 8:20 p.m. arriving in Cusco at 11:00 p.m. – 12:00 p.m. approx.
MORE REST HOURS:
The regular tour starts at 4:30 a.m. while the economic tour starts 9:00 a.m. which will allow you to rest and have breakfast
VISIT IN THE AFTERNOON:
The visit to Machu Picchu is in the afternoon; besides the fact that in the afternoon the photos are much better, around this time there are usually fewer people which means that the queues will not be so long and the place will be less busy.
By having fewer people in this schedule the groups are smaller and the experience with the guided tour will be much better.
Carry your identity document or passport.
Arrive half an hour before the departure at the train station.
Do not carry a lot of luggage, only 7kg are allowed on the train.
We suggest carrying a small backpack with your camera, wearing a hat, sunscreen, mosquito repellent and a bottle of water.
In Machu Picchu you will climb many steps, wear shoes suitable for walking and comfortable clothes
