Introduction And Itinerary

This trip is a terrific option for those who want to experience the beauty and wonder of arriving at Machu Picchu on the Inca Trail, but have less time or physical strenght to do a more extended trek. On our first day we take a lovely hike to the archaeological complex of Winay Wayna, then follow the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. After spending the night in Aguas Calientes, we have the entire second day to explore Machu Picchu.

Cusco / Km104 / Chachabamba / Wiñaywayna / MachupicchuINCA TRAIL TOURS 

First, transfer from the hotel to the train station to take the early train, and later we`re getting through the zigzag system until the pass of Tika Tika. After this stretc there is a downhill road until Km 104, going through the Sacred Valley. Then we get off in the starting point of this trek. Later we cross the suspension bridge to get at the Chachabamba Inca's site and after a brief visit, begins a three hours walking upwards until the archeological site known as the Wiñaywayna; this site is well known as the spiritual place of the hike. After that we keep walking until the Intipunku (Sun`s Gate). From there we can see the classic view of Machupicchu. In addition after walking half an hour down we`ll get at one of the most important archaeological sites of the world: Machupicchu.  Then we are going to take the bus to get at Aguas Calientes village, for spending the night in a hotel.

Second day: Aguas Calientes Villages / Machupicchu / Cusco INKA TRAILtour operator

After an early breakfast, we are going to take the bus upwards to Machupicchu, where well`ll be  earlier than the other groups. Then we`ll have a tour during two and half an hour with the Tour Guide. After that, you will have free time to explore by yourself. Once more, we have to go back to Aguas Calientes Village to take the afternoon train to return to Cusco. Finally, we have a transfer from the train station to the hotel.
