TITICACA
2 days 1 night
 Description of the lake.- This is the highest navigable lake in
the world. It is located in the Puno department, in the region
known as high plateau: the Collao plateau. This lake is
surrounded by little islands such as: the Uros, Taquile and
Amantani. In this tour you`ll visit the two first island, spending the night in Amantani. This tour includes lunch and
dinner on the first day, breakfast, the second day and the
lodges.
Itinerary:
First day: Puno-Uros-Amantani.-
We`ll pick you up
from your hotel at 7:00 A.M. to start the excursion going to the
lacustrine port to take our launch boat heading for the
“floating islands” of the Uros, in which you`ll stroll for about
one hour; you`ll see the variety of the flora and fauna of the
Titicaca lake. Then continue our navigation, and three hours
later we arrive at the Amantani island (around 1:00).
We`ll stay in family houses. We`ll have a typical lunch. During
the rest of the day, we`ll visit the most attractive places in
the island. At night we`ll have a typical dinner.
Second day: Amantani-Taquile-Puno.-
Early in the morning we`ll have a typical breakfast in one of
these houses, and then we`ll set off towards the Taquile island
arriving there at about 10:00 A.M. From there we`ll get back to
the city of Puno, arriving at its lacustrine port, where our
personnel staff will be there to take you to your hotel or to
the bus terminal.
