This capital
city of the department of the same name is located in
the Titicaca lake, in the geographical region
known as the Altiplano or high sierra. The western part
of the Titicaca lake, which is the world`s highest
navigable, is located in this region. |

Itinerary
First day:
We will take you from the airport or from the train station to
your hotel. You will have the free day.
Second day:
After having a
healthy breakfast we will transport you in the direction of the
wharf to aboard the launching ship heading for the famous
floating islands of the "Uros". In the afternoon we will visit
the graveyard of Sillusatani, a pre-Inca archaeological site; then
towards the bank of the "Umayo" lake, where are located
giant stone cylinders named "Chulpas". These comprises a necropolis where
important persons in the Tiwanacu culture were buried.
Third day:
After a comforting breakfast, we will take you to the airport or
to the train station for returning to Lima.
