Inca Jungle 3 days / 2 nights
ITINERARY:
FIRST NIGHT
Inca Jungle
.-
We
pick you up from your hotel at about 7pm and in an approximately
4 hours ride we get at Santa Marìa. We`ll go by the Málaga pass
(4350 m.s.n.m.) and then we`ll arrive to its city town, which is
150k.m. away from Cusco. We`ll spend the night surrounded by a
tropical afmosphere.
FIRST DAY
on
Inca Jungle
.-
After a healthy breakfast with the typical fruits of the area we
start the which will last eight hours aprox. This stretch is
developed among ascents and descents crossing the road. Later,
we`ll walk on the inka trail perfectly preserved among some
rivers that furrow this path harmoniously. The parrots are among
the animals that inhabit the area, besides monkeys of a great
vatiety along with a rich flora. Already in the afternoon we`ll
arrive to the medicinal hot springs of Ullumire, to enjoy a
comfortable bath. Later, we continue for one arriving at our
second campsite in Santa Teresa (1900 m.s.n.m).
SECOND
DAY on
Inca Jungle
.-
We`ll wake up very early and after taking the breakfast we`ll
get along our trek heading for Machu picchu. This day we`ll walk
following the route of the old Inkas (Ccapacñan). This route has
being restored and so had recoverd its historical value as part
of the complex inka routes that united with the inka city of
Machu picchu. It is in this day that we`ll see for the first
time this sacred citadel, an experience impossible to forget.
The night will be spent in a comfortable hotel in Aguas Caliente
town.
THIRD DAY
Inca Jungle.-
This day is programmed entirely for visiting Machu picchu. We`ll
walk just for 1:30 hours to the very same Sanctuary of Machu
Picchu. We have the purpose of arriving as soon as possible to
see the famous and unique raising sun shining on the mountain
summit which adorns this misterious citadel along with other
natural marvels making from this dawn an unforgettable one. Our
guide will be with us in Machu Picchu aprox.3 hours and then
will give us a free time for strolling around taking all the
pictures that we want. In the afternoon, returning train to the
city of Cusco..
